I have the great honor and pleasure to invite you, on behalf of the Organizing Committee, to the 7th National Symposium of the Romanian Association for Laboratory Animals Science (ARSAL), a symposium with international participation, to be held on October 3, 2019 in Bucharest.
The symposium will be hosted by the ,,Victor Babeş,, Institute of Cell Biology and Pathology.
The theme of this year’s symposium is focused on the assessment of the direction towards animal experimentation, taking into account the increasingly busy, bureaucratic and severe legislation, but also the multitude of alternative methods being tested and the pressure of animal rights organizations .
Beyond all obstacles, the animal experimentation infrastructure is being modernized in Romania, and the main centers will be presented to you.
Participation is free but registration is mandatory.
People who are part of the ethics committees evaluating projects, people from the competent authority authorizing projects and researchers conducting experimentation on animals are expected.
We have the certainty that the program we are going to accomplish will meet the most expectations, as well as the need to train and inform people working in this field.
On the part of the organizing committee,
President of ARSAL
